Help & supportCan I use Splix without the internet?
Yes. The local core lets you record expenses and work with saved records and balances offline. Live group collaboration and cloud services require a connection and the relevant account and sharing setup.
Do I have to create an account?
No account is needed to start using the local core. Connecting to supported cloud services is a separate choice. Signing in should not be confused with enabling cloud sharing.
Will my personal expenses appear in a group?
Personal spending is separate from shared expenses. Personal records do not belong in group balances, settlement suggestions, group CSV exports, or group WhatsApp summaries.
Does Splix transfer or verify payments?
No. Splix calculates suggested settlements and can prepare an external payment handoff where supported. You complete payment using your chosen method and explicitly confirm a settlement record in Splix.
Are receipt scans and PDF totals always correct?
Extracted information is a draft. Image quality and bill layouts affect extraction, so always check the amount, currency, date, and other details before saving. A scan does not automatically create a final expense.
Is Splix available on Android and iPhone?
This website introduces the Android beta. An iPhone release is not announced here. Public Android access details will be shown when an approved download or testing link is available.
Will everything come back on a new phone?
Do not assume every local record is in the cloud. Recovery depends on what was actually backed up or synchronized and which recovery paths your build supports. Check those options before changing or clearing your phone.
